Customer Service Centers (CSC)
The
CSC s established to
give “Single Window Solution”
to the Consumers. The CSC s are inherited a challenging
and difficult task to handle the both Consumers and Staff.
There was a need for a complete change in attitude to an
efficiency and Service focus.
A new era has
dawned in customer services with the functioning of the
Round-the-Clock Customer Service Centre on contact no
155333.
This customer
service centre will function as a single-window facility
where consumers can register their day-to-day grievances.
Any kind of complaints like
wrong billing, defective meters, failure of power supply,
low voltage, un-scheduled outages, etc. round
the clock can be reported here. These complaints will be
taken up by the centre till their grievances are redressed
and also written confirmation is sent.

Electricity
Call Centre is established with the motto of providing a
round the clock service in the least possible time
Complaints handled at ECC can be broadly classified into

Spot Billing System
The APSPDCL
brings to you a new customer-friendly service: The Spot
Billing System. This new service reduces the chances of
the customer either getting wrong bills or receiving
somebody else's / no bills at all since the meter reading
is taken right in front of the customer's eyes and the
bill is generated and issued on the spot.
Previous
readings are loaded in the device.
Meter
readers feed current meter reading into the device.
Bills
are generated, printed and issued to the consumers on the
spot.

Computerized
Collection Centers
EROs
give manual receipts for payments
Collection
information from EROs are entered into PAA database
The
C C C initiative, being piloted at Guntur, aims at
computerizing the entire collection process.
E-Seva
E-Seva
is an AP government initiative related to collections for
power, water, telephones etc.
Billing
data is loaded into e-Seva servers on a daily basis.
Collection
status is provided online through the e-Seva Website.
